Sandylands Pool

Few things to note, no hottub,apparently not been one for ages. The sauna you need to turn it on on the grey switch on the wall and keep pressing it every now and again. Two separate changing rooms, one for those coming in amd one for those coming out. Pool is fairly warm and the building is also fairly warm.

Beautiful clean pool and changing rooms it has a sauna in the pool area.

Arrived into a waiting area with info a sofa a coffee machine and very comfortable, there is 2 seperate changing rooms one for people going into the pool and one for the people leaving, great idea, changing rooms were modern clean have a shower a toilet hair dryer sink, everything u need, and because its seperate your not rushed, again great set up, into the pool the room was warm the pool was spotless and water was comfortable, nice big pool we ended up booking 3 hours here, and we would come back anytime, the only thing i would say is the sauna isnt that good, i dont feel it heats up enough for it to be beneficial, but thats a bonus to the pool, overall well looked after pool and amenities and woupd highly recommend,

Brilliant simple pool you can rent in its entirity. We'll designed, friendly owners, and most importantly clean and well cared for. It is in the middle no where, but that is part of its charm. A hidden gem.

The swimming pool itself is ok. The place is clean. Depending on the direction you're coming from it can be tricky to turn into the car park. My biggest disappointment is the hot tub and the sauna. I've seen both of them on the photos, and since this was my first visit I didn't know what to expect. First, the hot tub is non existent. Now, after I've been there looking at the photos, I can see that the sauna is where the hot tub used to be. If it was a good sauna though. But unfortunately I've never seen a sauna so poorly built. It takes ages to warm up and just can't be hot enough, but if you try to touch the door handle it burns - being metal. There is no thermometer or timer in it, but there is a huge gap around the door, and I swear it feels like even the wood they used is the wrong type. It looks like a good sauna but it doesn't feel like one at all. I'm sorry but because of this I'm not going back.

Brilliant little private pool, with sauna, cheap for what you get, very clean and tidy, great changing facilities, overall it's brilliant

A nice, out of the way private pool. Cheap to hire and well kept. The vending machine doesn't always work, so don't count on having a packet of post-swim quavers. It's only 1.2M deep, which makes it ideal for families with young children, especially if there are learners going there. Plenty of parking, wheelchair accessible with good sized changing rooms.
