Happy Fins Swim School

We joined Happy Fins after coming from a nationwide swim school. While that gave my son water confidence, we found it really lacked in actually teaching kids how to swim properly. Since joining Happy Fins, not only has his confidence continued to grow, but his swimming technique has progressed dramatically. Ethan is great, he gives clear instruction while keeping lessons fun, and everything is personalised to each child so nothing ever feels overwhelming or rushed. The progress he’s made in such a short time has been amazing to watch. We couldn’t recommend Happy Fins highly enough

Our son has been having swimming lessons in Peterborough for just under a year, after having lessons at local authority pools in large groups. The difference is night and day - he has formed lovely bonds with his teacher, he has made incredible progress in a short space of time and more importantly, he has developed a love and confidence of water. We found that although slightly more expensive, the amount of focused time per lesson meant we felt we had much better value coming to Happy Fins. Everybody we have encountered are great at what they do, and the facilities are immaculate and the pool nice and warm. The method of teaching enables children to swim without using floatation devices, and makes them feel safe and prepared in the water. They regularly practice safety techniques, and also make time for fun in the pool each session. They really make an effort for events like Easter, Halloween etc and the children earn badges and certificates. We could not recommend more.

Could not recommend Happy Finns enough...they are amazing. Lovely warm pool, small friendly groups. My 16 month daughter absolutely loves going. She adores her teacher Leanne and has formed a lovely bond with her. Best swim school around for Miles!!

We love happy fins! They provide the highest standard of swimming lessons! My daughter loves her teacher Leanne! She provides challenging & fun lessons every week! All staff are super friendly and create an environment where children have the best time learning to swim! My son & I also do parent & child lessons with Ethan, which are always full of lots of different activities to gain water confidence in such a fun way! They’ve got lots of engaging resources which they change each week to help aid their learning in the best way!

Such an amazing experience! My daughter attends her swimming lessons in Orton Longueville with Lucy, she has made such incredible progress and I’m totally over the moon with how her confidence has improved. We tried a different swimming school previously but each week was a struggle, however now my daughter can’t wait to go swimming! She has additional needs which can make it difficult for her to access and enjoy activities but she really feels comfortable and confident here and in such a short amount of time. Which is a true testament to Lucy’s kind and caring nature! Thank you Happy Fins 💕

Happy Fins is our happy place! Both my daughters attend swimming classes here - a 2:1 class for my eldest and a parent-and-child class with my littlest - and we couldn’t be happier. My eldest has made incredible progress in the year she’s been taught by Leanne Kokotka. When she started, she couldn’t swim at all, but now she has huge water confidence. She jumps in fearlessly, dives for sinkers, and swims lengths unaided - it’s amazing to watch. Leanne’s teaching is fantastic, and it’s no surprise this is my daughter’s favourite activity of the week! The parent-and-child classes are just as brilliant. Carly does a wonderful job of explaining every activity and the reasoning behind it, making sure each baby is challenged appropriately for their age and stage. The weekly themes keep things fun and fresh, and the classes are always energetic, engaging, and full of joy. Thank you, Happy Fins, for teaching such an important life skill - and for helping us create such special memories along the way!
