White Water Rafting at Holme Pierrepont Country Park

We had an amazing time whitewater rafting and couldn’t recommend this team enough! Cody, assisted ably by Grace, were excellent instructors — they explained everything clearly, made us feel safe and confident, and made the whole experience really fun from start to finish. Danny, the supervisor, was also fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. The photos they took were incredible too and really captured the experience perfectly. You can tell they genuinely care about giving everyone the best possible day. Five stars all the way!

Brilliant to watch in full flow. I was cold in the 2C air, the water must have been even colder but several people were on the course practicing in and out of the gates held by the overhead cables. Amazing to watch, I took several short videos from the bottom of the course upstream. A really good winter walk…

Came here for white water rafting and the organisation was very poor. We arrived half an hour early as recommended but this turned out to be unnecessary as we were told the staff weren’t ready so we then sat about (but not many chairs so most of us stood). Staff then appeared around 30 minutes later but we had to find them and only realised that’s who they were when we overhead the start of the safety briefing. Once we got into our raft they realised they’d got their numbers wrong so we had to get out again and be reorganised. Then listen to another safety briefing and intro. as others in our new raft hadn’t had one yet. In all we got just about an hour of actual rafting (we timed it) and over an hour of waiting and faffing. Also very different levels of competencies from instructors in regards to instructions and making sure people stayed paddling which in a team activity is quite important. The course is quite short so you spend more time paddling in the river to get to it. Worth noting it’s £5 for lockers so make sure you park in the closer car park and leave your stuff in the car. It’s not obviously as good as a natural course so if you’ve been before you may be disappointed, however if it wasn’t for the lack of organisation it would have been 4 stars.

Took our team of U16 rugby players and our coaches along for a post season social. They all had an amazing time, enjoying the thrills and wipeouts of white water rafting. All of the guides were super enthusiastic and really rose to the occasion to make sure our teams had a fantastic experience! Thanks so much to you all, can’t wait to come again soon!

It's a top-quality activity. We visited for a stag do and were absolutely delighted with the friendly service we received. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the water tubing and rafting. A special acknowledgment to all the instructors; you were all amazing. Great laughs were had all around. Special shout of to Sam. Now reviewing our videos we now know exactly what you was doing.... 🤣

Nice experience for beginners / new comers to white water rafting. Instructor/guides are super. Take you progressively through challenges. We enjoyed.

Went white water river rafting with a small group, was an absolute laugh. Helps if your brave, funny if your not, and I'm not brave 😅 we had a great instructor, Liam who was very experienced and great to talk to. Great location etc.
