We went to this bank today and didn’t wait long at all. The staff were all helpful and polite and the customer services guy Michael Clegg deserves a medal! He was warm, welcoming, polite , personable and went overboard to help us and managed to resolve our problem even though it was a business account and was not covered by the branch. He took photos of our documents on my phone and uploaded them for me. The service couldn’t have been better. So well done Nat West Cheetham Hill!

Im not understanding the bad reviews.. Ive been going to this bank for 10 years.. Its always been fine.. Its a bank.. Sometimes the wait is longer than others. Most time i get seen promptly..the one time a lady working there gave me a bad experience the manager dealt with the issue promptly and even sent me flowers to my home! The staff are lovely and always give good advice. They made me aware of certain things with my accounts too and now i have a reward account and earn no less than £10 a month back

Absolute waste off my time. The staff in this branch need more training. Last week a made a large withdrawal and deposited the cash into my son's account at this branch. Today I was repeating the same process but only a quarter of the amount. And I was told by the teller "This transaction is not possible" she told me it would be easier for her to transfer the money from the account to other accounts... This I can do on the app myself If I wanted to. Then she got annoyed with me because I insisted she take out the amount in cash. Then she said her terminal had "Crashed". Her tone if voice had changed, mine too because now I was losing my composure. Why would she just action my instructions? So because of the teller I closed my 25 year old RBS savings account.

Just waited 45 min to get seen... However it is the last day of the month and that is to be expected. I always get pleasant service whenever I visit even if I have to wait a little. The reason why I’ve given the full 5 stars despite the wait, is for the way they treat every customer regardless of their standing or status. Whilst waiting in line, I observed 1 of the 2 available cashiers serving a special needs teenager who took up a full 15 min of their time with the various requests that were obviously important to him. Despite the pressure, he was treated with the same courtesy and respect that every human being deserves. As he left the branch, his joy and self confidence were clearly visible. For me, knowing that the staff have the right values, and that they will always see to anyone’s needs with patience and a good attitude is all I could look for in any service establishment. If the trade off is spending a little time waiting, so the people before you can receive the same level of service that you desire for yourself, that is more than ok.

Recent queues are terrible! Been waiting almost an hour last time I've been. Elderly lady in front of me was in pain by the end of wait.... Absolutley unacceptable! There are 3 help desks but only 1 or 2 in use (and they are sooo slow dealing with each customer!) They do have people at the back that could come to help at the front (came out to authorise something and seen a massive queue but went back in) - obviously can not be bothered. Should get some young, energetic people in front to tackle the queues....

I have been a NatWest customer for over 40 years, and came into the bank with an elderly lady who is registered blind following a stroke, also a Natwest customer. The lady wanted to open a new Savings Account. The bank official treated us really well, but we were told that it is not possible to open the account in the branch and it can only be done online!!! How can Natwest expect someone elderly, blind and without a mobile phone or internet to set this up themselves?. Do Natwest not believe in "the personal touch" for their customers?, especially those who are not technology savvy and require someone to "hold their hand" and help them. The lady came away very upset. She is considering moving her account.
