Aquatic Training Course Limited

I recently attended a water safety course for swim teachers which is a fantastic course lead by Dave. He’s a great bloke who really knows his stuff and has a wealth of experience too. Well structured course, teaching you everything you need to know to pass. Dave is very friendly and creates a comfortable environment to learn in. I can’t recommend Dave enough! I’ll definitely be doing my renewal with Dave in 2 years time.

I’ve just completed my STA Certificate course with Paul Finch as tutor at Saint Joseph’s College, and I’ve learned so much throughout the experience. Paul is truly passionate about teaching and has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. He is kind, compassionate, and incredibly understanding. He even provided light refreshments at his own expense to ensure we were comfortable, which really reflects his thoughtful nature. I am very grateful to have had him as my tutor. The only constructive feedback I would offer — and this is purely a personal preference, not a reflection of Paul’s teaching skills — is that I would have found it even more beneficial to have fewer written assignments and less paperwork, with more opportunities to learn through observing practical drills carried out by experienced professionals. There is so much to gain from watching fellow and more seasoned teachers in action. I would have also appreciated more time to fully engage with and delve deeper into the lectures, rather than focusing so heavily on written tasks. That said, I do understand that assignments are an important part of revision and the learning process. Overall, it was an intense and empowering experience, and I am so glad I took part. Thank you — highly recommended!

Big thanks to Dave for facilitating such a great course, and of course, sharing his wisdom and knowledge. It was fun, informative and enjoyable. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work!

I recently attended the Safety Award for Teachers course run by Dave Perry. It was a day long course packed with valuable information, practices and by the end of it I left the course feeling I have gained and updated my knowledge. Thanks to Dave the course went smoothly and the day flew by. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks Dave!

Well priced course with lots of information given prior to the course start date for maximal preparation. Booked the course for my son, who asked me to post the following review: "I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped my achieve my STA Level 2 Award. A very special thank you goes to Bradley Maziere, who supported me every step of the course. He was more than just an incredible guide, throughout the training course as well as being a constant source of encouragement when I needed it. His patience, kindness and belief in me made all the difference. I am truly grateful for everything he has done. With gratitude, OO"

Excellent course - Dave is incredibly knowledgeable and creates a friendly, inclusive atmosphere for all. Having completed various other safety courses, I was impressed with Dave's enthusiasm to go beyond the core essentials. Would certainly recommend. Thank you!

I recently attended the "Pool Emergency Responder + Emergency First Aid at Work" 3 day course at Blackhorse Mills. It was a very enjoyable and fantastic experience. Dave Perry was an amazing instructor and his teaching methods made it very easy to digest all the information in the curriculum. Would definitely recommend ATC.

I recently had the pleasure of being one of the first to undertake the STA Baby & Preschool Swimming Teaching Course hosted at the Royal Russell School in Croydon - and what a fantastic experience it was! The venue itself was beautiful and well-suited to the course, providing a comfortable and inspiring environment for learning. Julie-Ann and Kim, who lead the course, were incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and supportive throughout. Their experience and enthusiasm truly shone through, making the course both engaging and enjoyable. It was also lovely to meet Dave on the first day - his warm welcome set the tone for what turned out to be a throughly enjoyable course from start to finish. The group of participants was wonderful - such a great bunch of people, all driven by the same passion for aquatic education. I genuinely enjoyed every minute of the course and feel privileged to have been part of it. Wishing everyone I met the very best for the future - thank you again to Dave, Julie-Ann and Kim at Aquatic Training Courses for such a memorable and enriching experience!
