Crest Swim School

After nearly two and a half years with Crest Swim School, I feel confident in recommending them to any parent in Sussex considering swimming lessons for their children. Both of ours, aged 7 and 11, have benefited enormously from the small class sizes and the consistency of teaching. What stands out most is how well the instructors know each child. They understand their individual abilities, their confidence in the water, and the specific areas they're working on. That level of attention is rare and it shows in the progress both of my children have made. Beyond the technical improvement, both have developed a real ease and enjoyment in the water, which I think speaks to the quality of the teaching environment as much as anything else. A thoroughly considered, well run swim school.

My children have been very cautious to start swimming lessons, but Jo has been exceptionally kind and patient with them. They now love it at Crest Swim School and look forward to swimming lessons every week with Jo! I'm so pleased we found you! Thank you so much for helping my children gain confidence in the water and allow them to learn at their own pace in a safe and fun environment.

My son is autistic but loves the water and swimming. He was previously asked to leave other swim groups due to his attention being very limited. Finding someone who already had a lot of experience with SEN and adapted their knowledge of this for the water was perfect. We had 1:1 lessons where Vicky had so much patience. My son learnt to swim in a fun and nurturing environment. He still speaks very highly of Vicky. Would highly recommend.

The staff are amazing with both my children who have SEND, the staff adapt lessons to their needs and ensure they remain engaged throughout the lesson. The small class sizes really help too. We have seen massive improvement with both children swimming since starting with Crest. Communication is great in general and should their teacher change for a lesson, or the class has to canceled, we are informed in good time. We are also kept up to date with how they are progressing. Overall its a great swim school and I would highly recommend Crest!

I can't say enough good things about Crest Swim School, lessons used to be a chore for my boys, then we found Sophie at Chailey Heritage School and the boys can't wait to get into their lessons. The highlight of the week for them is going down the slide at the end of the lesson as a treat for concentrating and working hard. Lessons are structured and tailored perfectly to the group of swimmers and I can see progress every week, thanks again Crest!!

Kelly and her team are absolutely fantastic. My children have learnt so much and had great fun! They’ve come on leaps and bounds. Would thoroughly recommend!

We’ve recently started lessons with crest for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! Kelly is so good at tailoring the lessons to our daughter’s capabilities and pushing them to learn to swim, while at the same time explaining to us as parents why we are doing each task and what they learn. I’ve been so impressed with these lessons and also by just how lovely Kelly is. I wholeheartedly recommend Crest to anyone who’s thinking of putting their child in swimming lessons.

Wonderful support in private lessons for my ASC child who had a big fear of even getting into the pool. Yes, expensive but absolutely worth it. Thank you Jo.
