The Wave Academy

Lucy at the wave academy is an absolutely brilliant swimming teacher. My two children love their lessons with her and have made so much progress. She is so patient with them and uses different techniques and equipment to grow their confidence. She has recently moved to a new pool location which has great changing facilities and easy parking. I would definitely recommend her lessons.

These lessons have been perfect for our two children. Lucy is a fabulous teacher. Our little girl, who was always apprehensive in water, is now loving it. She’s started to swim with only a noodle to help and we feel this is great progress after only 6 lessons, particularly as she’s only two. So glad we chose The Wave Academy.

I just wanted to share how impressed and grateful we are after Cooper's swimming lesson. It was such a positive and encouraging experience. From the moment the session began she was very supportive and encouraging towards my son. Lucy is very patience and with her positive attitude and fun swimming lesson we are amazed by how much progress he made in just a few session. We've take lessons before but his one stood out for how engaging and confidence-building it was. Thank you for making swimming such a fun and empowering experience for Cooper.

Great swim teacher!! Lucy is not only skilled and professional she is incredibly kind, caring, and thoughtful. She genuinely cares about each person she teaches, and she carries herself with a lot of integrity. (Whether it’s helping conquer a fear of water or simply making every session feel safe and encouraging, she always gives 100%). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
