Comfort Aquatics

I meant to review ages ago but completely forgot. I started with Comfort Aquatics in October 2023 as a complete adult non-swimmer. I never learned as a child and realised how much it was holding me back, particularly on holiday with my partner. It took just over a year to learn the basic techniques and strokes. I stopped lessons last year as I had completely outgrown the shallow pool at Freshwaters Academy but continued swimming! This summer, I snorkelled in deep water for the first time - something I thought I could never ever do. Whilst I am not the world’s most confident swimmer and will never be, I can now swim completely unfazed. I cannot recommend Comfort Aquatics enough!

We have been with CA for two years after trying three other swim schools, and it has been the best choice for our child's swimming education. Unlike our previous experiences, CA focuses on teaching concrete swimming skills rather than just keeping kids entertained in the water. While there is always room for improvement in class structure and organisation, the quality of instruction and the progress we’ve seen make this swim school stand out.

I've used Comfort Aquatics for 3 children over 7 years, both regular classes and holiday crash courses, and they've been brilliant every step of the way. We are so lucky to have this swim school in Ealing. My 2 youngest still delight in their lessons each week and have improved their swimming skills greatly.

Although the teachers and instructors are great communicating with the admin staff is just appalling. You are never able to get through to the phone line it constantly says unable to connect so no idea why they even advertise a number. Emails are rarely responded to so I have no idea how to communicate with them to ask questions about booking and class changes. Customer service and communication seems to just not exists. They take your money book you in and then basically disappear and expect you to just go with any changes they make. Very dissapointing

My daughter and I really like the Corfton Road venue, and the great coach she has there. We can really see our daughter's technique improving, as she takes onboard the guidance, in fun and engaging sessions.

My daughter had her first lesson at Freshwaters today; Fifi (Fiona) was amazing with the children and the pool was perfect for the age group! Adults were engaging with the children which meant the children knew what was expected of them, had the opportunity to have fun and learn a skill! What more could you ask really! Only pain is taking your shoes off but not the end of the world!
